    1. Thanks, I'm still trying to figure out those hatch pin seats you make. Would be helpful if you could post up some more photo's of how and where you actually install them. I've read the description but can't see the rubber stoppers you mention or the place where they would go. I might be in the market for some if you can provide some more visual detail :)

    1. Brilliant that's exactly what I was looking for, no wonder I couldn't see where the hatch pin seats went, didn't realise they were actually part of the lock mechanism. I replaced my lock mechanisms with brand new ones two years ago because the old ones were seized and worn. I imagine the rubber hatch pin seats are in good shape because of this, so won't be in the market for your nylon ones just yet. Good tutorial though.

  3. Dave,
I was wondering where you got the screw on type drive dog for the sunroof mechanism? http://www.944foot2thefloor.blogspot.co.uk/2010/07/how-to-repair-sunroof-on-porsche-944.html

    1. I found someone selling the complete mechanism on ebay. The plastic drive dog you can get direct from Porsche (Part Number 944 564 425 01) like I did. The long worm screw cable it attaches to might be more difficult to source which came with my ebay lot, I can't see a part number for it.
